Laboratories¶
Two tools where you do the interpreting rather than the processing.
Analogy Lab¶
Plot the spectral curve of any pixel, draw reference curves next to it, and decide whether a match is real. This is where a candidate becomes a result, and it is the step that catches most false positives.
It also searches: give it a spectrum you trust and it maps everywhere in the area that resembles it, including spectra you saved from a completely different project.
Data Masking¶
Remove the surfaces that drown out mineral signal. Minerals leave faint traces; vegetation, water and snow leave overwhelming ones, and no algorithm here can tell those apart on your behalf. An unmasked forest will be reported as a mineral.
Both are used inside the workflow rather than after it: masking in Phase 2, curve validation in Phase 7.
