False Color Composites¶
Images produced by the False Color Composite (FCC) method use a mix of colors to highlight specific mineralization-related features present on the surface. Different spectral bands assigned to RGB channels emphasize different surface characteristics of your area of interest, allowing you to build a site-specific interpretation of the local mineralogy.
How to Use the False Color Composite Layer?¶
- Go to the Data tab, expand Composites, and click Add layer next to False Color Composites.
- Open the Band Combo section and select a False Color Composite combination.
- Change the satellite source to reveal different spectral patterns across your area.
