False Color Composites

Images produced by the False Color Composite (FCC) method use a mix of colors to highlight specific mineralization-related features present on the surface. Different spectral bands assigned to RGB channels emphasize different surface characteristics of your area of interest, allowing you to build a site-specific interpretation of the local mineralogy.

How to Use the False Color Composite Layer?

  1. Go to the Data tab, expand Composites, and click Add layer next to False Color Composites.
  2. Open the Band Combo section and select a False Color Composite combination.
  3. Change the satellite source to reveal different spectral patterns across your area.
