2026-01-02 — TerraSight v1.0
TerraEye — Release 2026-01-02¶
Introduction of TerraSight and Spectral Editor¶
This release introduces the first version of TerraSight, expanding TerraEye from automated detection to interactive interpretation.
The initial TerraSight capability is the Spectral Editor, a workspace tool for validating mineral detection results using spectral signatures.
Added¶
TerraSight: Spectral Editor
- Compare satellite pixel spectra with USGS spectral library curves
- Compare multiple mineral reference curves simultaneously
- Display minerals detected by SAM (Spectral Angle Mapper) within the current area
- Inspect spectral signatures interactively inside the workspace
User impact¶
You can now validate automated mineral detection results visually instead of relying only on classification outputs.
This makes it easier to distinguish overlapping alteration responses and interpret lithological context.
Availability¶
- Available on the two highest subscription tiers
- Requires areas containing full spectral metadata
Areas created before this release may not contain the required data.
Reprocessing the area enables Spectral Editor functionality.
